Free Homeschool Information Fair

Join fellow homeschoolers at a free Homeschool Information Fair and get discount certificate to the Wholistic Learning at Home Mini-Conference!

A couple of weeks ago, homeschooling mom Megan Zeydel contacted me to participate in a free homeschooling information fair. Megan has generously arranged for the fair to take place at the Sylvan Community Center in Citrus Heights and has invited a number of vendors to participate.

Wholistic Learning Resources will be at the fair with information on our upcoming 2016 Fall Session of classes, offered in several locations.

In addition, we will have information on the upcoming Wholistic Learning at Home Mini-Conference including discount certificates to the Conference. Certificates will allow participants to attend the Conference for a reduced fee of $25 per person. (Regular fee is $60; early registration until 7/25/16 is $45.)

We will begin the day with joy and enthusiasm as Christiana Quick-Cleveland leads us in group singing. From there, Dr. Rick Tan, our Keynote Speaker, will guide home educators through a hands-on activity to develop a practical understanding of five key areas that impact homeschool life.

New Central Sacramento Location!

WLR is pleased to announce our newest class site, conveniently located in the central Sacramento area!

Classes will begin Thursday, September 15, 2016, at the Unitarian Universalist Society of Sacramento (UUSS), located at 2425 Sierra Blvd.

Classes at UUSS will include a new Kindergarten program with Ms. Ciana Keller; Astronomy & Measuring Time with Mr. Huff; Math Puzzles & Games and Problem Solving & Logic Games with Ms. Audra. In addition, we will offer Nature Notebooks, Beginning Knitting and a Ceramics program at
